No licence is required to drive our boats.

However, if you feel you’ll need a skipper, you must inform us before booking to check availability.

You can choose your plan, under our bookings page and select between 2,4,6 and 8 hours.

Also, to enhance your experience, you can choose to rent full face masks and fins.

And in case you’re late, no worries! You’ll still get your boat, as it won’t be scheduled for any other client in the same day.

As a result, we also offer you the choice to upgrade your plan at any moment, even during your rental.

We provide all the necessary training required for a perfectly safe and satisfying experience.

We are always, and in any case, available during your rental.

Our boats are manufactured by the most famous Greek boatyards (POSEIDON & KAREL), ensuring their quality and safety.

The boats are equipped with all the necessary equipment such life-vests etc. and also, with GPS trackers, in case we need to get to you.

We offer very competitive prices, for every need, and we also provide flexibility on our time schedules.

Our prices range from 160€ for 2 hours, to 250€ for 8 hours, fuel excluded.

Also, there are no extra charges in case you keep the boat longer than scheduled (not later than sunset). We’ll just charge you according to our plans. For instance, assuming you’ve booked the boat for 2 hours and you’ve returned it in 5 hours. In this case, we’ll charge you according to our 6 hours plan (230€).

Fuel is excluded from all our plans, and is charged separately depending on consumption.

Plus, our boats are new, premium, manufactured by the most famous Greek boatyards (POSEIDON & KAREL) and equipped with a multimedia screen, which can be used both for navigation and entertainment purposes.

We are based at Firiplaka.

This will prove to be very convenient for you, as you’ll find it very easy to access our location, and very close to all the famous locations of southern Milos (Kleftiko, Sikia, Gerontas, Tsigrado, Gerakas etc.).

We’ll provide all the details that you’ll need such as, in which order you should visit the required locations so that you avoid any traffic and spend your time efficiently, and what weather(-waves) you should expect in every part of your route.

Visit Kleftiko

25-35 minutes away

Located, just 25-35 minutes away from Firiplaka, Kleftiko is possibly the most iconic and famous location in Milos.

You can only visit Kleftiko by boat, and if you choose to rent a boat without a skipper, then you would have the most amazing and private experience possible.

This place has a long history. As a matter of fact, its name means “stealing-place” and it refers to centuries of pirate activity.

Also, it has many caves, which you can explore when swimming, huge white, wind and sea-carved, rocks and blue-green calm waters.

35-45 minutes away

Sikia cave is located on the southwestern coast of Milos, close to Kleftiko, and 35-45 minutes away from Firiplaka.

With a small pebble beach at end of the cave, lake-like calm waters, and a path to higher ground above the cave, this place is just amazing.

It is also, only accessible by boat, and recommended for more experienced captains because, on the way from Kleftiko to Sikia, you’ll be exposed to northern winds and waves.

Additionally, even though entering the cave of Sikia is quite easy because of the huge entrance, the cave itself can be dangerous to the boat as many submerged rocks make accessing the small beach inside the cave almost impossible without our skipper.

10-15 minutes away

Gerakas beach is located right after Tsigrado and it’s 10-15 minutes away from Firiplaka.

The location is simply amazing and it’s possibly our favourite.

It is only accessible by boat, and one of its greatest advantages is that it has significantly less traffic than Kleftiko, while sharing a similarly imposing landscape and colors.

The unreal white river-like sandy cliffs, the blue-green waters, and the coarse sandy beach, will convince you to spend most of your available time.

20-30 minutes away

Gerontas beach is located just before Kleftiko and it’s 20-30 minutes away from Firiplaka.

The location is quite famous for its fine-sand beach, its swallow waters, and its difficult access from land.

All the above, alongside the fact that it’s on your way to visit Kleftiko, provides the opportunity to check out a unique location.

5 minutes away

Tsigrado is the closest beach to Firiplaka and it’s only 5 minutes away.

It’s one of the most famous locations in Milos. It is very difficult to reach the beach from the land (it requires climbing with a rope), it’s located inside a very narrow and rocky gulf and while the total length of the beach is approximately 40 meters, it has interesting secret spots and pool-like rock formations.

In conclusion, it’s quite obvious that renting a boat to visit Tsigrado is highly recommended.

FAQ

No licence is required to drive our boats.

However, if you feel you’ll need a skipper, you must inform us before booking to check availability.

Driving a boat for the first time can be complicated.

However, we provide all the necessary training, including a test drive.

Moreover, we won’t give you the boat if we still have doubts about your safety.

If we still have doubts about your safety after your test drive, we will either assign you a skipper, reschedule (depending on skipper availability) or cancel your boat rental.

In any case, if we cancel your boat rental for this reason, you’ll receive a full refund.

A security deposit is an amount kept during your boat rental as insurance in case of minor damages (for instance, a damaged propeller) and is returned when your rental ends and fuel is paid.

The security deposit is 450€.

We offer both options, but if you choose to use your card, keep in mind that it might take a day or two for the money to show up back in your account.

Also, in rare cases and depending on your bank, they might charge you a small amount for transaction purposes.

Fuel is excluded from all plans and is charged separately depending on consumption.

A typical consumption/price is 40-50€ for a 4 hours rental.

When you place an online booking for one of our boats, we reserve the boat for the whole day.

This means you can start your boat rental at any time of the day. However, we advise you to follow the agreed schedule to avoid any delays.

Also, you can upgrade your plan anytime, even during your rental.

Due to the weather factor, we highly recommend planning your boating day for the first days of your stay in Milos.

This way, in case of bad weather, you’ll have good chances of rescheduling.

The boats are insured, but you are primarily responsible for any damage/loss to the boat and its equipment.

In such a case, you will have to fully compensate for the required repairs/equipment and the resulting loss of earnings.

Also, you are responsible for the actions of the rest members of your party as well.

Usually, the weather of Milos is defined by northern winds of variable intensity.

As a result, Kleftiko is very easy to reach, even by a small boat, since it’s located on the protected southern side of Milos.

Occasionally, southern winds may appear and unfortunately, in this case, all bookings must be rescheduled, or cancelled (see “CANCELLATION POLICY” under our RENTAL TERMS page).

To begin with, you must bring a valid passport (or ID) so that we can use it to issue the Rental Agreement.

Also, you must bring a valid credit/debit card (or cash) for withholding the security deposit of 450€
(we accept MASTERCARD, VISA, V-PAY and MAESTRO).

Lastly, you need to have a fully charged mobile phone, as it is essential onboard, and it will have to be always switched on to communicate in any case.
